Dined at the local Japanese restaurant yesterday evening: Ju Rin in Geneva, IL. My sensei were paying for dinner, so I ate what was given to me.
That includes:
-tuna
-salmon
-shrimp
-fried shrimp heads (antennae, eyes, etc)
-octopus (tentacles)
-squid
-mackerel
-cricket on a stick
-lotus root
And there was more, but I have no idea what it was. I slept well and my body was surprisingly fine with all the food.
We sat at the sushi bar and talked to a lot of the staff. They’re a really fun group of people.
